The château de La Barbelinière stands in the commune of Thuré, in the Vienne department. Its origins go back to a fortified structure built in the 15th century by Jean de Marconnay, after which the estate passed through several hands over the following centuries. The successive owners, from the Certany to the Creuzé and later the Renty and Bonafos de Bélinay families, each left their mark through extensions and changes to the property. The site remains today in private family ownership.
