To make a day of it

Château d'Ennery stands in Ennery (Val-d'Oise), in the Île-de-France region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: second half of the 17th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Built in 1680 for Jacques d'Ailly, the château d'Ennery shows a classical facade of nine bays, organized around a central projecting section topped with a triangular pediment pierced by an oculus. The building, in a style close to that of Jules Hardouin-Mansart, rises over two storeys in the town of Ennery, in the Val-d'Oise department. The estate later belonged to Victor-Thérèse Charpentier, count of Ennery, before passing by inheritance to his daughter Pauline, married at the age of thirteen to the second duke of Lévis.
