What the French Ministry of Culture records
Place fortifiée au Moyen-Age, gravement endommagé pendant la guerre de Cent ans, le château fut remis en état une première fois en 1422. A la fin du 16e siècle, il est à nouveau restauré et transformé. En 1629, construction d'un bâtiment entre le donjon carré et la tour ronde. Au début du 17e siècle, sont élevés sur la gauche de la façade du château, un pavillon et une aile basse. En 1714, construction d'un pavillon à côté du donjon carré, à l'opposé de la tour ronde. Lors de la restauration de 1936, une galerie basse fut construite pour relier le château à l'aile basse du 17e siècle. La demeure est entourée d'un parc
