What the French Ministry of Culture records

La première mention du château remonte à 1805. L'édifice est significatif de l'architecture de la période révolutionnaire de la Gascogne gersoise. A l'intérieur, la disposition elliptique de la salle-de-manger et semi-elliptique du grand salon, témoignent d'une certaine recherche. Le château a connu un décor important de papier peint, comme en témoignent les traces visibles sous les papiers récents. Un ensemble presque intact de panoramiques orne le salon à l'est. Il s'agit de papiers peints à la main, représentant des bergeries sur fond de paysages champêtres.
