What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le noyau du château correspond à un château gascon de la fin du 13e ou du début du 14e siècle. La tour carrée sud-ouest appartient à la construction d'origine. Au début du 17e siècle, le château est doté d'un nouveau système de défense (éléments du chemin de ronde). A la même époque, les percements et la distribution intérieure sont modifiés. A l'ouest, le chai comporte des éléments de l'enceinte médiévale. Travaux menés entre 1604 et 1613, touchant surtout l'ouverture des fenêtres à meneau et le bâtiment qui double la façade est. Transformé en exploitation agricole.
