This Salleboeuf residence, built in 1628, continues an aristocratic presence documented since the 15th century. Its rectangular footprint reveals successive transformations of a building whose south facade was added later, while the eastern side preserves traces of older construction: a triangular-pediment door and a window with mullioned cross-casements. Purchased by Gustave Eiffel in 1896, the estate then became a meteorological observatory, before 19th-century warehouses were added to complete the complex.
