What the French Ministry of Culture records

Dépendant de l'ancien château des Nassau Sarrebrück, ce moulin à farine est surtout protégé pour son aspect architectural. Une grande façade monumentale à trois niveaux, percée de baies régulières à encadrements chanfreinés et une toiture à la Mansart caractérisent la façade amont. Celle-ci porte les dates 1726 et 1787. La façade aval est d'une plus grande sobriété, les linteaux des baies du premier étage sont décorés de sculptures ; le linteau d'une des portes du rez-de-chaussée est orné d'armoiries seigneuriales. Les deux roues hydrauliques verticales ont été sauvegardées, elles utilisent un même canal, la plus grande est en bois et à aubes droites.
