What the French Ministry of Culture records

L'ensemble fortifié, situé à l'extrémité nord-est d'un petit plateau, se compose d'une motte et d'une basse-cour. La motte tronconique, circulaire, mesure 8 à 9 m de haut pour un diamètre de 50 m. Elle est entièrement ceinturée d'un fossé sec, entamé par la route côté sud. La plate-forme sommitale a été en partie détruite par une tranchée. La basse-cour, située à l'ouest du tertre, présente un plan semi-elliptique. Elle est défendue au nord par d'importantes levées de terre. Le site est bien conservé, en dépit des dégradations observées.
