To make a day of it

Pavillon d'Armenonville stands in 16e arrondissement de Paris (Paris), in the Île-de-France region of France. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The pavillon d'Armenonville stands at the northeastern edge of the Bois de Boulogne, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Originally a hunting lodge built in the early 18th century for the Comte d'Armenonville, who oversaw Louis XIV's hunts, it was later demolished and rebuilt identically in the 19th century by architect Gabriel Davioud as part of Haussmann's redesign of the park. It then became a restaurant popular with riders using the Bois, numbering Alexandre Dumas and Marcel Proust among its visitors, before being converted into an events venue in the 20th century.
