La Cour manor, located in Saint-Martin-le-Hébert, is one of the most important architectural complexes in the Manche department. Built between the 16th and 18th centuries, with most of its authentic elements dating from a reconstruction around 1630, it consists of buildings arranged around an interior courtyard that was once closed by a drawbridge and surrounded by moats still filled with water. The site preserves remarkable testaments to its past: mullioned windows, interior woodwork, paving in slate and limestone, fireplaces from the late 16th century, and a south-west tower housing an octagonal wash house. The estate also includes two dovecots and a terraced garden organized according to the principles of traditional gardens.
