At La Hague, set in a coastal valley, Nacqueville château is visited mainly for its park, laid out in the 19th century by an English landscape designer. The walk follows a stream with cascades, a pond and plantings of rhododendrons and hydrangeas, within grounds classified as a remarkable garden. The gatehouse with its drawbridge, the oldest surviving part of the estate, is also open to visitors and includes information on the site's history. The enclosure wall and its water features have been listed as a historic monument since 1992.
