What the French Ministry of Culture records

La construction paraît remonter au 15e ou 16e siècle, d'après le style des cheminées. Il semble que la porte d'entrée et la lucarne de l'aile ouest soient des adjonctions postérieures. Les armoiries que portait le blason de cette porte ne sont plus lisibles. Tout autour du manoir s'élevait une enceinte fortifiée dont il subsiste une tour à l'est et un portail ruiné datant de 1620. La petite porte piétonne a été conservée. A l'angle nord de l'enceinte, chapelle en ruine. Le manoir a appartenu à la duchesse d'Elbeuf et aux de Kerangal.
