Its asymmetrical tuffeau stone facade is carved with flamboyant Gothic ornament around four main openings, and a turret houses the spiral staircase serving the upper floors. Bought in a near-derelict state in the 1980s, the building underwent a careful restoration, down to the window joinery, and is now set within a landscaped garden that has received recognition for the way it complements the historic structure.
