What the French Ministry of Culture records

La construction du logis remonte à la fin du 15e siècle ; il a été agrandi vers l'ouest dans la première moitié du 18e siècle, avec une construction adventice au 20e siècle. Le premier logis présente en façade postérieure sud une construction solide aux puissantes murailles de grès, percée d'une porte piétonne formant corps de passage, surmontée d'un étage en pans de bois. La façade antérieure est en pans de bois, avec à l'étage une galerie de circulation en encorbellement sur sommiers ; cette galerie à claire voie présente un décor de linteaux festonnés à évidement. Associée à un escalier à vis en bois situé en hors-oeuvre dans une tour hexagonale, elle permettait la distribution des pièces à l'étage. Intérieurement sont conservés les aménagements d'origine, ainsi qu'à l'étage un décor peint du début du 17e siècle. L'agrandissement du 18e siècle a respecté le parti d'origine, avec réemploi de quelques pièces de bois anciennes.
