Château d'Ablon stands in Ablon (Calvados), in the Normandie region of France. The building is listed as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: fourth quarter of the 15th century, third quarter of the 18th century). Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Ablon castle stands in the Pays d'Auge, in Calvados, on a site occupied since the 13th century by the lords of Ablon. Of the medieval stronghold destroyed during the Hundred Years' War and rebuilt in the 15th century, only a corner tower remains, now part of a pink brick residence built in 1767 in the Louis XVI style. The surrounding landscaped park still contains a dovecote from the early 16th century, a 19th century Chinese pavilion and a three-hundred-year-old cedar of Lebanon.
