Château de Louye stands in Louye (Eure), in the Normandie region of France. The building is registered as a historic monument (dating recorded in the Mérimée database: fourth quarter of the 15th century, 16th century, second half of the 18th century, 19th century). The building is privately owned and no visits are on record.

What the French Ministry of Culture records

De la forteresse mentionnée en 1194 et comprise dans la ligne de défense du duché de Normandie, il subsiste l'implantation du château et quelques vestiges de maçonneries. Celui-ci a été reconstruit à la fin du 15e siècle selon un plan en équerre avec des décors de briques vernissées. Le logis a partiellement été reconstruit et doté d'une façade classique dans la seconde moitié du 18e siècle. Vers 1810, la façade sur cour a été dotée par l'architecte Berthault d'un décor d'inspiration égyptienne pour une aile, gothique pour l'autre. L'intérieur a en grande partie été remanié à la fin du 19e siècle, mais il conserve des éléments antérieurs : voûte d'ogives et culs-de-lampe sculptés, salle du chartier, salle haute couverte d'une charpente en carène du 16e siècle, vestiges de peinture murale du 16e siècle dans la salle aux cerfs. Le domaine comprend également un vaste ensemble de communs organisés autour d'une cour, un parc ordonnancé orné de plusieurs fabriques, dont la plus remarquable est une tour dite de Malborough, un vaste potager et de nombreuses dépendances de la fin du 19e siècle, dont une ferme modèle.
