La Gruette is a gentilhommière built in the third quarter of the 18th century at Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire by the joiner Audebert Cartier, who worked for the Duke of Choiseul. Its south facade, flanked by two lower wings, together with four dormer windows, gives the building the look of a Louis XV era folly. Visitors can also see a tuffeau chapel dating from 1761, a closed courtyard bordered by old walls, and an entrance gate framed by pillars carved with baskets of fruit.
