Le domaine de Kerlivio se caractérise par la présence, au milieu d'un parc clos de murs créé au 19e siècle, des trois châteaux qui se sont succédés sur le site : un manoir du 15e siècle dont ne subsistent que les fondations et un pigeonnier ; un manoir des 17e et 18e siècles, vraisemblablement construit en deux temps sur les ruines du précédent, flanqué d'écuries, d'une tour hexagonale dite de l'Horloge (18e siècle) et d'une orangerie également du 18e siècle ; enfin, le château actuel, construit entre 1820 et 1850 par le comte de Perrien de Crenan. Le parc paysager, aménagé vers 1850 autour du château, est attribué aux frères Bühler et en présente toutes les caractéristiques, tant dans le tracé du parc que dans le choix des plantations. La coexistence d'architectures plus anciennes et d'un château et d'un parc purement 19e constitue l'originalité de cet ensemble.
