Schloss Thundorf stands at the centre of the village of Thundorf in Unterfranken, in Bavaria, built around 1600 as a moated residence for the burgraves von Schaumberg. Its older wing is marked by two onion-domed towers typical of late Franconian Renaissance style, while a later wing, added in the eighteenth century and converted into a parish church in the nineteenth, gives the building its mixed character. The property now functions as a parish centre and includes a tithe barn and a small park with a timber-framed pavilion.
