To make a day of it
Schloss Schönbronn stands in Weihenzell (Landkreis Ansbach), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
Schloss Schönbronn is a small hunting lodge built in the 18th century for the margraves of Ansbach, standing at the center of the Schönbronn hamlet within the municipality of Weihenzell. An earlier fortified building, a Burg once owned by Heinrich von Hertenberg, is documented on the site as early as 1344, though it is unclear whether it stood on the exact same spot. The present structure is unassuming: a single-story, rendered building under a half-hip roof, with corner pilaster strips and a dormer gable topped by a clipped gable roof, extended northward in the 20th century.
