Schloss Rugendorf stands in Rugendorf (Landkreis Kulmbach), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Rugendorf stands right next to the village church, a solid stone building topped by a tall, steeply pitched roof rising through several pointed levels. Built in 1555 for Jörg von Waldenfels, it was sold in 1628 or 1629 to the Bamberg bishop Johann Georg II Fuchs von Dornheim, and over the centuries served various purposes, including as a grain store and later as a residence. The facade still bears traces of these changes, windows from different periods, bricked up round arches, and a former cellar entrance now sealed off.
