Schloss Redwitz stands in Redwitz an der Rodach (Landkreis Lichtenfels), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Redwitz stands on a rocky spur above the steep banks of the Rodach river, in Redwitz an der Rodach. Its origins trace back to a 13th century fortress built by the Marschälke von Kunstadt family, which was gradually transformed into a residential complex through the 14th and 17th centuries. The present building forms an irregular four wing complex around a trapezoidal inner courtyard, flanked by two staircase towers. The wings, with their hipped roofs and varying heights, reflect the many phases of rebuilding the site has undergone over time.
