To make a day of it
Schloss Reinsberg stands in Reinsberg (Landkreis Mittelsachsen), in Saxony, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Reinsberg Castle stands on a steep slope above the Bobritzsch river, in Reinsberg, in the Mittelsachsen district of Saxony. A fortified site already existed here in 1197, held by the Reinsberg family, before the Schönberg family took over in the early 15th century and remained for more than five hundred years. The building still shows traces of its defensive origins, including a moat that once guarded its unprotected eastern flank, crossed by a drawbridge, and a massive tower. The surrounding park remains open to walkers.
