Schloss Philippsruhe stands in Hanau (Hanau), in Hesse, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Recorded dating: 17th century. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

Schloss Philippsruhe stands on the western edge of Hanau, beside the Main river, within a park that has kept its eighteenth century layout. Built for the counts of Hanau and later reshaped by the Hessian landgraves, it still bears the marks of both its original baroque design and the renovations carried out in the late nineteenth century. The central block, fronted by a columned portico, and the state rooms upstairs now house the city's historical museum.

The rooms open to visitors house the collections of the Historisches Museum Hanau within the former state apartments.
Most of the original furnishings were lost, especially after a fire in 1984, apart from a few majolica stoves and two Venetian chandeliers.
