Schloss Oranienbaum stands in Oranienbaum-Wörlitz, in the Landkreis Wittenberg, Saxony-Anhalt, as part of the Garden Kingdom of Dessau-Wörlitz. Built from 1681 by the Dutch architect Cornelis Ryckwaert for Princess Henriette Catharina of Orange-Nassau, it kept a distinctly Dutch character rarely found in Germany, with its three wings and geometric garden. Inside, visitors can still see a cellar lined with Delft tiles, a hall covered in gilded leather, and a crystal room featuring modern glasswork by Bernhard Heesen. The surrounding park holds an English-Chinese garden unique in Germany, complete with a pagoda and a tea house reachable by boat.
