To make a day of it
Schloss Murrmirnichtviel stands in Bad Dürkheim (Landkreis Bad Dürkheim), in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
Murrmirnichtviel Lodge is the ruin of a hunting pavilion topped by an old watchtower, set in the Palatinate Forest southwest of Bad Dürkheim. Built for the counts of Leiningen to guard a disputed hunting boundary with Electoral Palatinate, it stood only briefly before being burned down in the late 18th century. Today only sections of wall with window openings and the stump of the tower remain, stabilised in the late 1980s. Reaching the site means a walk through woodland, well away from any road.
