To make a day of it
Schloss Moggenbrunn stands in Meeder (Landkreis Coburg), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
Schloss Moggenbrunn stands in the hamlet of Moggenbrunn, part of the municipality of Meeder, at the edge of a small park planted with old chestnut trees. Originally a moated manor dating back to the early 14th century, it took on its present form in the 16th century, with a stone ground floor topped by two half-timbered upper storeys and a square stair tower crowned by a dome with an octagonal lantern. Having changed hands repeatedly between noble and later bourgeois families, it was carefully restored between 1978 and 2000 by its owners, who kept both its interior and exterior details faithful to their original state.
