Schloss Jägersburg stands in Homburg (Saarpfalz-Kreis), in Saarland, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Duke Christian IV of Palatinate-Zweibrücken commissioned a hunting lodge at Homburg, in what is now the Saarpfalz district of Saarland, and construction took place between 1752 and 1756. The design took the Grand Trianon at Versailles as its model, making it one of Germany's earliest neoclassical buildings, with pilasters and balustrades adorning the low wings that flanked a two-storey main block. French revolutionary troops set the lodge on fire in 1793, and workers pulled down the remains in the early 1800s, so nothing of it can be seen today. This site should not be confused with the nearby Gustavsburg, a medieval castle that has survived to the present.
