Schloss Föhren stands in Föhren, in Rhineland-Palatinate, on the site of an earlier fortified building first recorded in 1340. The present baroque structure took shape in 1663, when Johann Eberhard von Kesselstatt had the older stronghold rebuilt following his marriage to the sister of the Elector of Trier. Its round-arched early 17th-century portal, topped by the family's coat of arms, still forms the main entrance, alongside a tithe barn from 1820 now used for events.
