Schloss Döbschütz stands on the edge of Vierkirchen, bordered on three sides by a water moat, combining remnants of a medieval stronghold with nineteenth century neo-Gothic alterations. Regarded as the oldest castle in Upper Lusatia, it was the ancestral seat of the von Debschitz family before passing through several owners, from the von Gersdorff to the von Roon. The horseshoe shaped building, with its crenellated square tower, now houses a toy museum opened in 2003.
