Schloss Branitz stands in Cottbus (Cottbus), in Brandenburg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Recorded dating: 18th century. Adult admission costs 11 EUR. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Branitz Palace stands in Cottbus, Brandenburg, at the centre of a landscape park designed by its most famous resident, Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau. Built in the 1770s for August Heinrich von Pückler, the building was substantially remodelled around 1860 when the prince made it his retirement home. Visitors today can see the restored apartments, including the so called oriental rooms, along with a collection of paintings by Cottbus landscape artist Carl Blechen. The estate also includes notable outbuildings, such as the blue and gold decorated stables and the old park forge.
