Schloss Bad Wurzach stands in Bad Wurzach (Landkreis Ravensburg), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Schloss Bad Wurzach stands as the architectural landmark of the town, built upon the foundations of a medieval Burg first recorded in 1422. The present building dates from 1723 to 1728, commissioned by Count Ernst Jakob Truchsess von Waldburg-Zeil-Wurzach, and its baroque staircase remains the most striking feature inside. For two centuries it served as residence of the Waldburg-Zeil-Wurzach line before a troubled twentieth-century history that saw it used as a school and then as a wartime camp.
