Rodensteiner Schloss stands in Groß-Umstadt (Landkreis Darmstadt-Dieburg), in Hesse, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.
The Rodensteiner Schloss stands within the old town walls of Groß-Umstadt, one of seven former noble residences in the town. The present main building dates largely from a rebuilding around 1550 under the von Boineburg family, on a site first recorded in 1409 under the Schelm von Bergen. The street facade shows a broad segmental-arched gateway with carved coats of arms, while the courtyard side is dominated by a hexagonal stair tower with a stone spiral staircase. The building now belongs to the town and houses a residence for senior citizens, making it an inhabited site rather than a monument open for touring.
