To make a day of it

Jägerhäuschen (Kottenforst) stands in Bonn (Bonn), in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.

The Jägerhäuschen stands deep in the Kottenforst woodland near Bonn. Built between 1730 and 1740, this small hunting lodge served as a relay station for the mounted hunts organized by the Elector of Cologne, Clemens August, where horses could be changed mid chase. The building still shows the layout of its two original functions: a resting room for the huntsmen on one side and a larger stable on the other.
