The Güntersburg is a ruined castle set on the Kohlberg hill above the Selke valley, near Güntersberge, a district of Harzgerode. Only a few foundation walls remain of the former buildings, including those of two gatehouse towers that are still clearly visible. Unusually large for a medieval stronghold, the site covers around three hectares and still shows traces of the rampart and ditch that once defended it on the northwest side. A nature trail runs close to the old castle grounds.
