Eichstädter Warte stands in Mücheln (Geiseltal) (Saalekreis), in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
The Eichstädter Warte is a medieval watchtower standing on a hill near Langeneichstädt, in the Saalekreis district of Saxony-Anhalt. Rising 15.6 metres, it once served as an outpost of Querfurt Castle, keeping watch over an old trade route running to the north. The structure seen today, built of limestone and sandstone, has been dated to around 1483 through dendrochronological analysis, though an earlier tower may have stood on the spot as far back as the 10th century under King Henry I. Nearby lies a Neolithic chamber grave, whose capstone once bore a carved image of a dolmen goddess, now kept in the museum in Halle, with a replica placed on the hill; together the grave, the statue and the tower form a protected ensemble.
