The Burgstall Windeck survives only as an earthwork site, set on the Eierberg hill, 342 metres high, west of Ampferbach, a district of Burgebrach. First recorded in 1263, it belonged to the lords of Windeck before being destroyed in 1525 during the Peasants' War.
