To make a day of it

Burgstall Schlösslesberg stands in Zusmarshausen (Landkreis Augsburg), in Bavaria, Germany. The building is a listed Baudenkmal. No visits are on record for this building.

The Burgstall Schlösslesberg is a medieval motte site hidden on a spur of the Fischerberg near Zusmarshausen in Bavaria. No masonry survives, but an earthen mound roughly thirteen metres high still stands, ringed by a visible ditch, though dense young woodland now makes the area hard to walk through. It belongs to a type of early noble residence common in the Augsburg region, and two information boards placed in front of the mound explain what is known of its past.
