The Burg Molkenstein lies in Michelfeld, in the Landkreis Schwäbisch Hall, in Baden-Württemberg. It was once a moated fortified site, long since vanished, of which only remnants of ditches remain visible in the landscape today. First recorded in 1442 in connection with the lords of Molkenstein, the site stands apart from the village, near a pond fed by the upper course of the Herrenbach.
