Burg Türkheim was a hilltop and spur fortification, now vanished, located north of the church in the village of Türkheim, a district of Geislingen an der Steige. Built around 1100, either by the local lords of Türkheim or by the counts of Helfenstein whom they served, it was abandoned after 1200. Today only an open-air archaeological site remains, with no standing structures, set on a spur overlooking the Rötelbach valley.
