To make a day of it
Burg Rheinhausen stands in Mannheim (Mannheim), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Recorded dating: 11th century. No visits are on record for this building.
The Burg Rheinhausen no longer stands: it was a lowland stronghold built in the 11th century in what is now the Schwetzingerstadt district of Mannheim. Raised by the lords of Husen as a customs post on the Rhine and Neckar, it lost its purpose after the Neckar shifted course around 1275. Nothing of the structure remains, only the street names Burgstraße and Rheinhäuser Straße, at whose junction it once stood, keep its memory.
