Burg Limperich stands in Beuel, a district of Bonn, in North Rhine-Westphalia. First recorded in 1285 as the property of a noble family, it was turned into a baroque manor house after Frank Nesselrode bought it in 1688. Repeated rebuilding, relocation and demolition over the centuries have left little trace of a fortified structure, and the present building looks much like an ordinary large house. Since 1964 it has served as the clubhouse of a local amateur radio association.
