Perched on a summit above Friedingen, a district of Singen (Hohentwiel), Burg Hohenfriedingen, also known as the 'Friedinger Schlössle', enjoys a striking position roughly 150 metres above Lake Constance. The surviving structure retains an elongated polygonal enclosure wall, with a single entrance flanked by two massive cheek walls, while the former outer bailey has given way to a garden. The site today functions as a restaurant venue within the old walls.
