Burg Eybburg is a former moated stronghold, largely vanished today, located in the hamlet of Eybburg within the municipality of Arberg. The site began as Lochhof, a fief first recorded in 1416, before Ludwig von Eyb-Sommersdorf had a new castle built here in 1487, giving the place its present name. What remains includes a stretch of the northern curtain wall with two towers, broad moats with their outer rampart, and a 15th-century gatehouse later converted into a chapel. The last section of the keep-like palas, at least ten metres high, was pulled down in 1891.
