Burg Eibach is the ruin of a moated castle in Lindlar, standing right next to the Gut Eibach farmstead. Built in the 14th century on a base of fifteen by eight metres, it passed through several noble families before a fire, on the night of 16 to 17 December 1782, destroyed much of it. What remains today is the massive round tower in the southeast and part of the 17th century south wing of the outer bailey. A few hundred metres away lies another ruin, that of Burg Neuenberg.
