To make a day of it
Burg Brockzetel stands in Aurich (Landkreis Aurich), in Lower Saxony, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.
Brockzetel Castle survives today only as an archaeological site, in the Aurich district that bears its name, in Lower Saxony. This former stronghold of East Frisia once blocked a strategic route through a moorland, before being destroyed in the early 16th century. Visitors find a barely perceptible rectangular ditch, the only remaining trace of a stone house that no longer stands.

- The ground has been disturbed by sand extraction and by the construction of a bakehouse around 1900.
- This location will mainly interest those curious about medieval archaeology rather than visitors seeking a visible monument.
