To make a day of it
Schloss Lütetsburg stands in Lütetsburg (Landkreis Aurich), in Lower Saxony, Germany. Its opening hours and prices have not been verified at the source yet.
Schloss Lütetsburg stands at the edge of the park bearing its name, in East Frisia, built on the foundations of several successive structures that have occupied the same site since the Middle Ages. The present building, rebuilt in 1959 and 1960 after a fire, follows a plainer architectural style than its predecessors, yet retains from the Renaissance period the three-winged forecourt and its Baroque gate tower of 1731, the only surviving structures from earlier centuries. The estate has belonged to the same family, the counts zu Innhausen und Knyphausen, since 1588.
