To make a day of it

Burg Brie stands in Stuttgart (Stuttgart), in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. No visits are on record for this building.

Burg Brie was a medieval fortification that has since vanished, once standing on the left bank of the Neckar in the Brie district of Bad Cannstatt, part of Stuttgart. First recorded around 1230 as a moated mound structure, it was destroyed in 1287 by the troops of Rudolf of Habsburg, along with all of Stuttgart's fortifications. No physical remains survive today, and only the name lives on in the Bryestraße, a side street off Aachener Straße. This is a site of interest mainly for those tracing the early urban history of Bad Cannstatt rather than a place offering a monument to see.
