What the French Ministry of Culture records

Le premier hôtel est construit par le promoteur sir Thomas-Robinson Woolfield de 1852 à 1856. En 1860, le duc de Vallombrosa y ajoute une chapelle et crée un jardin paysager. L'hôtelier allemand Ellmer l'achète en 1893 et le transforme en Hôtel du parc qui fonctionne de 1893 à 1934. Finalement, l'hôtel est divisé en appartements.
