What the French Ministry of Culture records
Domaine constitué à partir du 15e siècle. A la fin du 18e siècle, il a la configuration traditionnelle d'un domaine bastidaire provençal. En 1865, un entrepreneur architecte Pierre-Hilaire Curtil achète le domaine et reconstruit entièrement le château dans un style éclectique. Parc profondément remanié dans la seconde moitié du 19e siècle grâce au canal de Marseille. Aile occidentale ajoutée en 1902. En 1941, Marcel Pagnol achète le domaine ("le château de ma mère") , mais depuis, l'édifice n'a cessé de se dégrader.
